Tuition payments may be made directly to the Finance Office in installments as follows:

1. A student’s placement is guaranteed at the time parent or guardian pay the full tuition.

2. In the case of a new student joining the school during the first term, full tuition is due. If a student joins during the second term, 50% of the tuition is due.

3. 50% of tuition is due within 14 days of the day that parents are notified that their child has been accepted (in order to reserve a place for the school year.) After

this period admission is rescinded and the school reserves the right to occupy these vacant places.

4. If a vacancy exists, the school may accept payment of tuition after the 14 day deadline. Parents must pay the full annual tuition before the first day of school.

5. If a student withdraws from Al-Bassam School four weeks after the first day of school or after, the school will retain full tuition for the year: there will be no refund.

6. Parents must pay 50% of the balance of tuition before the first day of school in order for the student to attend school. The remaining 50% balance is also due before the first day. If it is not paid on time, the school has the right to one of the following options:

a. The student’s registration is cancelled and 30% of tuition is withheld.

b. The student is not allowed to attend classes until the tuition is paid.

c. The student’s parents arrange for a payment plan, to be submitted at least one month prior to the first day of school. This plan requires the approval of the School Chairman. If approved, the student will be allowed to attend classes.

d. The student is allowed to attend classes on the basis that his parent/guardian submits a written promise to pay the full tuition within the first month after the first day of school. In case of failure to carry out steps (c) or (d) before the end of the first term, the school reserves the right to retain the student’s academic results of the first term (hold the report card). If the tuition is not received before the second semester begins, the school reserves the right to refuse attendance for the second semester. The school reserves the right to retain the student’s permanent record, and any other documents until payment is received in full.

7. School fees are not refunded or transferred except in the following cases:

a. In the case the School Principal receives notification one month or more before the first day of school that a student will not attend; all fees are refunded except for S.R. 500 application and registration fees.

b. In the case the School Principal receives notification between 2 weeks to one month before the first day of school that a student will not attend, fees are refunded except for S.R. 500 application and registration fees and 10% of total tuition.

c. In the case the School Principal receives notification between one day and two weeks before the first day of school that a student will not attend

classes, tuition is refunded except for S.R. 500 application and registration fees and 20% of total tuition.

d. In the case the School Principal receives notification between the first day of school and two weeks after the first day of school that a student will not attend classes, tuition is refunded except for S.R. 500 application and registration fees and 30% of total tuition.

e. In the case the School Principal receives notification between two and four weeks after the first day of school that a student will not attend classes, tuition is refunded except for S.R. 500 application and registration fees and 40% of total tuition.

f. In the case the School Principal receives notification four weeks or more after the first day of school, the total tuition is non-refundable.

8. Students currently attending Al-Bassam will follow the following tuition schedule in subsequent years:

a. 50% of tuition is due by May 31st of each year.

b. The Remaining 50% of tuition must be paid before the first day of school.

Methods of Payment: Tuition and Fees are payable in Saudi Riyals only. Funds may be drawn on Al-Rajhi Bank through a personal check, a bank draft or wire transfer. We accept payments made by ATM too.
